Information we collect

We do not operate user accounts, online checkout or a contact form on this website. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, company, project details and the contents of your message.

Our hosting and security providers may also process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP address, browser information, request time and pages requested.

How we use your information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, discuss and deliver post-production services, administer our business, maintain records, protect our systems and meet legal or regulatory obligations.

Where we process information to respond to an enquiry or provide services, the lawful basis will usually be taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, or our legitimate interests in running and protecting our business. Where the law requires another basis, we will use that basis.

Who we share information with

We may use trusted suppliers that help us host, secure and operate our website and business systems. We may also share information where this is necessary to deliver work you have asked us to undertake, or where we are legally required to do so. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and embedded video

This website does not use advertising cookies, behavioural tracking pixels or client-side analytics cookies. We do not use browser local storage for tracking.

The showreel is hosted by Vimeo. To reduce unnecessary third-party tracking, the Vimeo player is not loaded until you choose to play the showreel and it is loaded using Vimeo’s Do Not Track setting. Vimeo may then use essential security technologies needed to provide and protect the player. You can choose not to load the video.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry and project correspondence only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, for ongoing business relationships, record-keeping, accounting, resolving disputes and complying with legal obligations. Retention periods may vary according to the nature of the work and applicable requirements.

International processing

Some suppliers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we expect appropriate safeguards to be used in accordance with applicable data-protection law.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, or to object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent.

To exercise a privacy right, email hello@motionpost.co.uk. You also have the right to raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

We may update this privacy notice if our services, suppliers or legal obligations change. This version was last updated in August 2026.
